Architect Gary Chang Redesigns His 330 Sq. Ft. Apartment Into A Classy Transformer

In Hong Kong, apartments are small and expensive due to the space limitiations. Gary Chang, an architect, decided to redesign his old home, a 330 sq. ft. apartment into a classy transformer apartment to be able to change into 24 different designs, all by just sliding panels and walls. He calls this the “Domestic Transformer”. Watch the video after the jump.

The Hidden House by Standard

While browsing my Twitter feeds, I found a link to this site Contemporist which highlights modern architecture. Their feature on this unique home caught my eye on how it was laid out – well not really – but actually how the house itself was hidden among the landscape. The house was designed by Standard – an architectural firm based in Los Angeles. More pictures after the jump.
