I Zen-ified My Blog
Yay! I managed to complete tweaking my blog so it looked and functioned like how I wanted it to. It took me quite some time to complete this and I’m proud of my work. No software or applications were harmed in the process as I used the native WordPress editor to do most of the coding. Doing it on the Digi EDGE network was no easy task due to the slow connection plus the repetitive refreshing needed! But finally I did it :) Here’s a break down of what I did.
The Month Leading Up To The Year Of The Tiger
Yeaa….ah… so I kinda missed my resolutions for this year , not one but two of them both Resolution #1 and Resolution #3. The first one was due to improper planning or rather a too aggressive schedule. The latter however was just….well let’s just blame it on the Year of the Tiger :p So just a quick update on what has been happening for the past month, here goes!
Tweak
Hmm I finally did up my site, changed the fonts and incorporated my site logo onto the side bar. It is really surprising how some small changes can do wonders to the design of your site.
The only thing missing now is to make my site’s logo pop up on the top of the page… other than that I’d say I did a pretty good job :)
*Update – So yesterday I got the site running on the tweaked theme but this morning when I accessed it, the theme was back to the original! I freaked out and edited it again and again but still it shows the original theme! And now it’s back to the one I tweaked without me doing anything!!??? WTH?
The Joy Of Reincarnation
Colin came home from the pub late one Friday evening, stinking drunk – as he often did – and crept into bed beside his wife who was already asleep.
He gave her a peck on the cheek and fell asleep.
When he awoke he found a strange man standing at the end of his bed wearing a long flowing white robe.
“Who the hell are you?” demanded Colin, “and what are you doing in my bedroom?”
The mysterious man answered, “This isn’t your bedroom and I’m St Peter”.
Colin was stunned, “You mean I’m dead!!! That can’t be, I have so much to live for. I haven’t said goodbye to my family…. you’ve got to send me back straight away”.
St Peter replied, “Yes, you can be reincarnated but there is a catch. We can only send you back as a dog or a hen.”
